Our School Talent Show

Well it has been some time sense I have written and published my post.  But today I am going to break that trend!  As many of you know I have been heavily involved in the PTO at the kids school.  I have been for the Last 3 years been on the PTO board with this year being the PTO President.  Our theme for this year In PTO is bring families together!  We have planned many activities that we hope will do this!  Our spring activity was a talent show.  In the past the music teacher has thrown together a talent show during school.  We decided this year that we as a PTO would organize and do an evening of talent.  It turned out great1  We let everyone that tried out participate!  We want these children to build their confidence.  We want them to gain leadership skills and I believe that last night we did just that.  These kids were awesome.  It takes a lot of courage to get up in front of a crowd and preform a talent!!  My two girls being two of the acts it was amazing!! Allison sang the national anthem and did a dance and she also did another act doing a rhyme while clapping her hands with a friend!!  Maddison  sang a solo with Kermit the Frog "The Rainbow Connection".  She did a great job and memorized all the words.  She practiced all the time all day long!  All of the girls practice paid off and they were able to get up there on stage and be brave and they did great!!

Thanks to all that helped make this night a success!!  All the kids loved it! And we had a great turn out!!
