We had a very fun day today!!! We had our Primary Activity which was for the whole family, as the theme for the year was on families. We painted blocks, frosted cookies, got some FHE lessons and painted temple frames to put our family picture in, and we even did a hold to the rod activity. We all held onto the rod and walked across a beam then we passed a ball over one family member then under the next family member's leg and then we traveled through the mist of darkness which required me 9 months pergo, to crawl on hands and knees holding on to the iron rod and children holding on to me as well it was quite the sight. We made it, and each of the kids were so excited.

Next on our list was the pumpkin patch. This was super fun too. There was so much to do and the kids wanted to do it all at once. We went through the straw maze and the kids raced to see who get through it the fastest. They all had fun. Next we took a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkins. This was fun, we told the kids that if they could carry it they could keep it. Allison tried really hard to carry hers. It took her awhile to get hers to the road but she did it. Good thing Dad was there because she could not quite lift it back up onto the hay ride. Josephs was big to but man this kid sure has a set of muscles on him. Spencer he is our undesisive little boy. He could not decide what one would be the best but he finally decided on one and he was so proud that he could carry it all by him self. Then we were back on the hay ride to finish up. We had to take Maddie and Michael to the mini pumpkin patch because all he pumpkins in the field were to big and heavy. So while Dad weighed and paid for the pumpkins with the three older kids, I took the two little ones and we went on a hunt for the two best little pumpkins to be had. And sure enough Maddie and Michael each took their time looking for the best pumpkin. Examining each one until they found the one that they loved the most. So we went back and weighed them and paid for them. Of course we do not go to a pumpkin patch all the time so we decided to let the kids go on the cow train ride and they were just thrilled with that. It is so fun to see the kids with great big smiles on their faces. I love making memories with all of our kids as a family.
After we were done at the Pumpkin patch we headed down the road to PoJo's (a video arcade and ride place). Joseph has asked all year to go here for his Birthday. He does not ask for much of anything and hardley shows interest in much of anything. So we thought we had better take him here. We bought each of the kids 8 tokens hoping that would be enough. About 5 minutes later Joseph came back with not tokens and about 450 tickets and was so excited he could hardly wait to get his prize. So I went around with the other kids while Daddy and Joseph did the ticket thing. After all the kids were done and had gotten their prizes we were going to eat pizza there but they just wanted to go. We had packed food in the van so we decided to go to the park instead. We went and ate some late lunch early dinner. And then played until every one was tired. We had such a fun day, that I did not want it to end.
I love days like this, the ones that you wish would never end and go on and on. I can hardly wait for eternity because I feel like that is how it will be. Full of joy and happiness on all of our faces and in all of our hearts.
